It was an amazing trip to Wellington & Ocala areain which I picked up a few more bodywork tools for my Performance Integrative Equine Bodywork business. One of the many highlights of the trip was assisting Jim Masterson in his work on a 2010 WEG Australian Eventing horse which may be going to the Olympics! To say it was a pleasure to work on these beautiful horses and enhance their performance would be an understatement.

Another great clinic hosted at Penrose Farm inKnoxvilleTenn! For all levels of experience and ages.Anyone can access horse energy and facilitate dynamic changes!! Now at a clinic if an 8 year old can get massive releases from using acupressure points just imagine what you could do!!

From Janet Elmo: “Bob Roffman of Performance Equine Massage came to my house last week to give me a demo of his work. Bob’s a big guy – 6’7″ – with a surprisingly gentle touch and open, calm demeanor. He worked with Norman, my 16hh “I don’t like men” gelding. Within moments of putting his hands on Norm, the horse bought into the work. This photo shows Norman dropping his head at a gentle request on the poll — a sensitive area he generally protects. At one point, Norm’s nose was on mat. And our rescue dog – who takes a while to warm up to people (and never gets very warm with them) – was often at Bob’s side whining to be petted. This guy is the real thing!”

You would never have known that his Poll was very reactive to my touch! A big thank you to Janet Elmo for allowing the demo on Norman. Even a 25 year old needs some TLC and he is definitely in the zone!!

I want to thank Christine Deal for setting up a demo with her 7 year old Irish Draft named Jewel at her farm in Marshville NC this morning. Afterward we debriefed what had occured during the session. Also in addition to the Integrative Bodywork demo I taught the Bladder Meridian to a couple of excited horse owners. A great way to start the day!!

The surprise that I get from working on unique breeds that I don’t normally come across. The other day I had the pleasure of working on my first Nokota which is originally from the Great Northern Plains.

As you can see he is definitely enjoy his first integrative bodywork session.
